Always keep the muzzle pointed in a safe direction.
Always keep your finger off the trigger until you are ready to shoot.
Always keep the firearm unloaded until you are ready to use it.
Know your target and what's beyond it.
Use correct ammunition.
If your firearm fails to fire when the trigger is pulled, keep your firearm pointed in a safe direction, unload and inspect it.
Always wear eye and ear protection while on the range.use the proper ammunition.
With the firearm unloaded, be sure the barrel is clear of obstruction before shooting. Never look down the muzzle end of a firearm that you are shooting.
Don't alter or modify your firearm and have it serviced regularly.
Learn the mechanical and handling characteristics of the firearms you are using.
Range Safety Procedures
Minors (9-17 years old) may shoot but only under the direct supervision of their parents/guardians.
All firearms must be CLEARED PRIOR to entering the range.
All ammunition brought onto the range is subject to inspection.
The use of incendiaries (tracer) and armor piercing (steel core) rounds are NOT permitted at this range facility. NO GREEN TIP AMMO!
The range is not responsible for personal property or equipment left unsupervised.
Listen and do what the Range Safety Officers (RSO's) tell you to do.
Patrons are responsible to check in at the Range Office prior to entering the range.
Uncase and case your firearm at the shooting bench, never behind the safety line.
Unloaded firearms may be holstered or left on the firing line bench with the chamber area/slide of the pistol open and clear with firearm on safe.
Firearms are to be left at the firing line open or holstered and on safe while personnel are down range or at other cease fire periods.
Steel targets will NOT be engaged within 10 yards.
The wearing of eye and ear protection is REQUIRED when shooting.
When patrons are finished for the day, they must clean-up their respective firing lane to include the removal of any paper targets from the target stand.
No smoking/vaping or eating on the firing line or firing area, smoke/vape and eat in the designated smoking area. Only drinks with secure lids are permitted in the firing area.
